Vehicle Description 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible modified.
This is not a number matching motor.
Had been frame off restoration 14 years ago.
Frame had been por15 coated all body parts had been rustproofed, interior floor and firewall has been sprayed with Lizard skin sound insulation.
New rear quarter panels, new front floor pans.
New truck pans.
Have the stainless steel wheel trim not installed because I like it without it.
(Goes with car) All new interior seat covers and foam with heated seats on front buckets.
New top and new top motor and all hoses.
All new wiring in engine compartment with relays installed on starter ,fuel pump ,headlights, and radiator fan with adjustable temperature.
The engine is not original for this car but they did have a 455 in this year.
It's a 455 with Edelbrock aluminum heads and Mondello rolling rockers ,Edelbrock torker aluminum intake.
Speed pro forged pistons 10 to 1Compression ,Comp cam 280H, Quickfuel 880 carb.
Petronex flamethrower distribution.
It has gear drive on cam instead of chain drive.
Flowtech Ceramic headers with a mini high tork starter.
The transmission has been rebuilt with Kevlar bands and a new 3 inch Chrome moly drive shaft.
Quick Performance 9 inch ford with Eaton Truetrac posi with Yukon pro n case with billet yoke for up to 650 hp comes with rear disc brakes kit.
This car has CPP hydroboost four wheel disc brakes.
CPP tubular front A arms.
CPP 500 close ratio turning box.
QA1 adjustable front shocks.
Aluminum 3 row radiator with transmission cooling lines and electric adjustable cooling fan.
Front and rear bumper have been rechromed.
Has radio but not hooked up.
Gas tank has been coated inside and out has electric fuel pump.
Gas lines and brake lines are new.
Flowmaster mufflers, have all receipts of what has been done to car.
Car is always stored in car trailer with cover on it.
Car only around 10000 miles on it since it was built.
Have a heater for it but didn't reinstall after rebuilt, heated seats are enough for my summer driving only! This has been a summer weekend only car.
The front tires have less than 1000 miles on them , back tires maybe 5000 miles.
This car last summer only taken out 5 to 7 times.
I started it a lot and always have put gas stabilizer in tank.
This car was in Hot Rod November 2017 magazine, the Picture was at a 1965 gas station with other Classic cars! Also have extra parts that can go with car if asking price is met , 400 trans that has been rebuilt but never installed, convertible top frame with rain gutter, radiator core support, three doors with glass in them, two front fenders, two hood hinges, two front wheel wells, one convertible trunk lid, one rear rechromed rear bumper no cut outs in it.
