Essential Functions:
Greeting guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service Writes order on check to ensure that there are no mistakes Ensures beverage orders are delivered to the bartender Takes food order, presents to kitchen staff promptly Delivers meals to guests in a proper and timely manner in accordance with training.
Observes to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed Clears and resets counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
Responds quickly to guest requests and ensures guest satisfaction by effectively communicating with guests throughout.
Reports any guest comments or concerns to Manager/Owner immediately to assist in resolving any issues or requests, as necessary.
Totals bill and accepts payment Assists in bussing and resetting tables.
Completes all side work as assigned.
Complies with all state and county health codes for food handling.
Attends all in-services training and pre-shift meetings.
Handles china, glassware, and equipment safely and quietly to minimize breakage.
Performs all duties in adherence to standards.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all guests and co-workers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures set forth and outlined in the employee handbook.
Performs other duties as assigned.
