Role and Responsibilities General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Cleaning and stock restrooms.
Ensure doors are locked after hours.
Perform minor repairs.
(Soap Dispensers, Etc.
) Notify supervisors or managers of any worn equipment or of any major repairs needed.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
Follow cleaning schedule and communicate any changes or deviations to the supervisor.
Wear proper PPE at all times.
Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
Basic math skills.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS Will work in a variety of environments and will occasionally be on the plant floor.
Will at times be exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vibration, welding sparks, grease, oil, and diesel fuel.
