We are a family owned and operated company in Palmyra, MO, USA, directly located on Hwy 61, as well as a second location off county road 402.
Role and Responsibilities Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
Use basic mathematic skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and fractions.
Understanding of how the machine works to maintain the machinery for which they are responsible and ensure it functions.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
Position the steel and secure the steel onto the loadout table.
Count and record finished goods and handle the shipping instructions.
Operator must tag and mark finished goods and drop material and place the drop material into the proper area.
Clean the work site area by using brooms, rags, or cleaning compounds and will use proper housekeeping practices Ability to effectively communicate Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment when applicable.
Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere.
Ability to learn new skills, technology, and equipment as industry changes.
