Production Assembly Production Assemblers prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Production Assemblers'' works on various parts of the equipment that is being assembled and follows instructions from the Assembly Lead/Supervisor.
The Production Assembly Lead/Supervisor cross trains Production Assembly employees on multiple areas within the production line assigned.
Role and Responsibilities Must be able to perform 8-hour shifts.
Have mechanical knowledge or background working with tools.
Use power and hand tools to make or repair parts and products.
Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
Work with other members of the line or group to assemble products.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
